Born and raised in the Bronx, this is Gary Vargas’s (Kehickey) fifth Off Broadway theatrical production with Hanging Cow Productions! Gary was recently seen in “Who Killed Mama Souprano,” “All We Really Know is That We Exist,” and “All Because Of … Infidelity” at the American Theatre for Actors. He took his first acting class just over 3 years ago at Westchester Community College and has fallen in love with performing and has not looked back. He is a Human Resources Manager for a Not-For-Profit organization in New York. However, acting is a passion for him that he finally found the courage to pursue! A few of Gary’s biggest inspirations are Tom Hanks, Gary Oldman, Paul Giamatti, and Walton Goggins. When Gary is not working his day job or passion, he is performing non-stop for his wife and child. His hobbies include motorcycle riding, off-roading trails, and reading graphic novels. Gary is extremely excited to be part of this production! He would like to thank Hanging Cow Productions for taking a shot with him and giving him the opportunity to pursue his dream, making him feel like family! He wants to thank his biggest supporter, his wife, who continues to give him the push to pursue his dream, along with his son, who he hopes to grow up to pursue his dreams no matter what life throws at him. He dedicates this performance to his mother, Sadie Vargas: “I hope I’m making you proud as you look down from above.”
Michele Evans (Candie Oleson) is an actress by day and an improvista by night. Her love for acting started at a very young age and other than acting in the drama club in her Junior year of high school, she started pursuing her passion to be an actress four years ago. She has been an actress with the Westchester Collaborative Theater in Ossining, NY for the past two years, has been an improvista with Blind Tiger Improv in Hudson Valley for the past four years and she landed a part in the feature length film ‘Guy Friends’ that will be released on May 31st.
Constance Christie (Grizzo) began her acting career after earning her undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook by taking acting classes at night and on weekends while working as a legal secretary during the day. She was just seen in Who Killed Mama Souprano, My Big Fat Geek Wedding, and in Nov 2023’s “All We Really Know is That We Exist,” on Off Broadway! She spent nearly her entire weekly salary on classes and on books at the Drama Book Shop while also reading everything free she could find about working in the business. Almost all her free time was dedicated to reading plays and learning as much as possible. Constance booked several student films, several of which won awards at film festivals. Constance also participated in the NYC Fringe Festival and several other Off-Broadway productions. In 2009 Constance left NY to go to law school in Michigan. While Constance always believed her foundation helped her with her classes in litigation, Moot Court, Mock Trial and Trial Skills classes, performing still pulled at mind and heart. Several years after passing the NYS Bar Exam, Constance decided to stop silencing her love of the arts and performing. She began training and auditioning again.
